Paul is an extremely compassionate and empathetic professional lawyer who used his expertise to resolve my traffic case. While other traffic lawyers tried to scare me into quickly paying the deposit by emphasizing severe consequences, Paul alleviated my fear. He clearly explained that my case wouldn't cause major issues, which really comforted me during a difficult time. Additionally, his fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend Paul as your defense lawyer if you ever need one.

Stephanie oversaw my case and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She was very thorough and I felt well informed. I was very pleased with the outcome of my case; honestly, it was a huge gamechanger for me that put me on the right trajectory. (This was a number of years ago and I have a tremendous amount of gratitude for all of those who helped me along the way and wished to extend my most heartfelt thanks even so long after the fact.)
Thank you again for your assistance. I couldnt have done it without you!!

I can't thank Roy Ho enough for the outstanding job he did on my ICBC case. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in getting me the best possible outcome. He took the time to clearly explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with patience and clarity and gave me confidence throughout a situation that could have otherwise been very overwhelming.

His expertise and experience in dealing with ICBC was evident from the start. He built a strong case, handled all the negotiations, and in the end, helped me get the best possible outcome. I truly felt that I had someone in my corner who cared about my well being and fought for my rights.

Thank you Roy and everyone at Acumen Law!

I had initially hired a different law firm to represent me, but over time it became clear they did not have by best interests at heart. I made the decision to seek new representation, and I'm so glad I did.

The initial consultation was over zoom with Roy Ho and Brandon Moscoe, the difference was clear. They were attentive, thorough, and genuinely committed to achieving the best outcome for me.

Throughout the entire process Brandon Moscoe always kept me informed,. I felt supported ,and confident in the guidance I was receiving. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and always had my best interests in mind .

I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my case. I highly recommend Acumen Law for legal representation.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Natalie Ross at Acumen Law. I retained her for an ICBC-related case, and she already knew she had represented the other party involved in the same incident. Even after I explained my full side of the story and what I was trying to do with ICBC, she said nothing about the obvious conflict of interest. She agreed to take my case anyway and took my retainer.

She didn’t tell me anything about not being able to use my story or represent me properly until months later — after I had already paid and waited with no real updates or communication. It’s clear she was just trying to finesse me for the money while knowing the whole time she couldn’t act in my best interest.

Eventually, she told me she couldn’t represent me due to the conflict, but kept the retainer. It felt like a complete scam. I went to another law firm, and they were transparent, communicative, and honest from day one — exactly how a legal professional should be.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t recommend going to lawyers who clearly care more about taking your money than actually helping you with your case. In my experience, Natalie Ross falls into that category. Be careful — there are better, more ethical lawyers out there who won’t waste your time or money.

Hired this law firm for a DUI/IRP

Everyone was super friendly initially, and I was told by a certain staff member that I had a really good chance of dismissing my charges.

The transcript from the appeal was very embarrassing to read and had mostly nothing to do with my case. The adjudicator made it clear that Kyla and her firm just make a lot of noise about nothing (over 600 pages of documents!) to try to delay decisions and tie up the adjudication process.

I was not consulted after submitting my evidence, I had only one phone call with Kyla. Nobody told me anything during the process, only that I had to wait.

My name was also spelt wrong almost everywhere legally. Kind of insulting to say the least as they had my ID and literally just had to copy paste it from the rest of the documents that I provided.

What hurt the most, when my case was lost the staff member who told me I had a good chance of winning didn’t event type anything in the body of the email. Just 3 pdf attachments stating that I lost. Also, with a generic document, in pdf format, from ‘Kyla’, with my name spelt wrong.

I feel if I paid for a legal service a phone call would have been nice to let me know the outcome. At the very least a real email, not a cut and paste the defendants name. Even so, try to get the defendants name correct.

Save your $2k, or go elsewhere. Just my advice. Do t come here expecting results. Y’all will just talk with someone who doesn’t know what’s going on until it’s too late.
