I applied for assistance through what they call Homeless Prevention Program.
I was raked over the coals, interrogated, treated like I was the scum of the earth.
After finally being approved, I could only pray that my landlord would receive the half of my rent through Canada Post on time... only to find out it was sent 2 days after rent was due.

When inquiring where they sent it, I was again treated like scum, and when I simply tried explaining and reasoning that it was a simple request to know where they sent it, was informed my landlord could deal with them going forward.

All that, and my rent is late, and so the second time I went in to inquire, was told to get out and they would not re-issue a check to my landlord. I would recommend greatly to the establishment to teach their staff sensitivity. I'm not a scammer trying to suck the system. I'm a working professional who took time off to grieve a huge loss in her family. The treatment I received was appalling.

MY name is jamie hayes i stayed at asap shelter in prince george bc i have pmemonia asap staff kicked me out because l cant lay down nor sit still without choking and coughing .a staff member swore dorectcly at me. Told me to get out then. Half the staff treat clients like garbage.I have severe health problems.. served on canadian forces . Ive never neen treated like i was at asap mens and womens shelter.

I like this place cause if u don't have a place to receive mail they well let u use there address for u to get ur mail sent too.And the people there r friendly.
