My experience with Accendus Group was nothing short of appalling. Simple administrative tasks were consistently delayed from the very beginning; it took weeks for them to even send an engagement letter and contract. Multiple requests for receipts were met with promises and ultimately ignored. Emails would regularly go unanswered by their secretary. If I had had any real and effective choice in the selection of a therapist, I would have gone elsewhere.

Greg Koval himself consistently overpromised and underdelivered. When challenged on his failure to follow through on a promise that I considered critical to the therapy with my son, he threatened to drop me as a client. A week away from a key point in the therapy process, he dropped me as a client, citing a justification that was not covered in any contract or correspondence and that was ultimately irrelevant to the therapy itself. In the end, I spent thousands of dollars on verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive process.

Stay far away from this company.

I was first recommended to Mary-Jo and Greg in May 2018, during the the early stages of a very high-conflict divorce. Upon meeting them, I was immediately struck by their diverse and extensive experience with families and children, but also with their compassion, understanding and professionalism. The guidance and advice that I received from Accendus saved me thousands of dollars in legal fees, and quite possibly saved the relationship with my then 4 year old son.

I cannot say enough positive things about this firm. If you are going through difficulty in your family or with your children, or if you are involved in a high-conflict relationship or divorce, I implore you to call Accendus.
