if you notice how messed up the court system is, you should google the Abbotsford police department - they are so much worse that they know it and as a result they shut off all their Google review options so that no one can accurately report just how incompetent they are - i mean who uses a call center to take emergency police matter calls? what is this Los Angeles? then they never call you back on a pending case - ridiculous and compromising the safety of Abbotsford citizens

Wow! What an incredible new venue. Bathrooms are immaculate, the entire facility is spotless and organized. Very very impressed. Kudos to the staff that maintains this place!

I visited the Law Courts twice. Both times the security guards were very nice. The people working at the counter at small claims were also nice. The place is very new and not busy at all.

ATTENTIONS FATHERS: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY PURSUING PRIMARY CUSTODY - YOU WILL NEVER GET IT.
I had hoped I was different to the overwhelming statistics as I am a profoundly involved father, more so than the mother ("According to the same report by the Department of Justice, 79.3% of children under the age of 12 are placed under exclusive custody of the mother, and only 6.6% of the fathers have sole custody of the child. 12.8% of the court cases have granted shared physical custody to both parents" and this is purely restricted to situations where both parents want custody!). I needed to move from the Mainland to the Island out of absolute necessity and I got punished for this. Now I see my kids every second weekend. Ironically, every ferry ride has many single fathers doing the same. I don't see many single mothers on there at all. One regular father I see on there had his wife move from the Island to the Mainland. He didn't move but lost primary. If you want to pay tens of thousands fighting for custody so you can tell your kids you did everything you could, that's fair, just don't get your hopes up. Feminism and equality doesn't exist here, where women reign supreme, only where women fall short. What a laughable broken system. Injustice Caldwell is beyond biased, probably securing his retirement in fear of backlash from favoring fathers. He will make necessary decisions and then slam the primary custody-losing party with unnecessary decisions like costs and stripping you of final decision making... then has the audacity to preach to you how important it is for co-parents to work together while he creates this rift of tension between the parents. Ridiculous.

The "staff" when entering are aggressive and mostly rude. I witnessed.a parent allowing their children to run around and literally scream yet nothing was done #rules .The reception clerk was, no kidding, so extremely rude that I had to put her in her place. I made the first clerk walk away and asked the second if the first was always "like that".
Is there a problem with the building, or is it cultural?

Your rights are continually trampled by this court the charter only applies to Federal provincial municipal employees and to Parliament. The charter does not apply to average citizens. Why isn't such a great Charter on the walls of the courthouse? Because it only applies to Federal provincial municipal employees and Parliament. The application of the charter is on the last three or four pages of the Charter of Rights.

Compared to the lovely officer that welcomed me into the surrey courthouse last week, this was a complete joke was stared at like a thug by the four officers inside who did not even attempt to greet me. Then i was rudely told to put my things in the plastic tray level of disrespect i was shown was so distasteful. These officers need a public relations refresher all four of them I'm here for traffic court not a criminal offence don't treat me like one. This was at 9:15am on December 22 hope these officers get reprimanded.

My review seems to have been removed. Vancouver court house doesn’t have the amount of awful security this place has. Going in as a witness or to ask a question you are treated like a criminal. Security guards are on a power trip. And 7 guarding the tiny front doors. Ugliest cheapest building I have ever seen. I’m disappointed Abbotsford allowed this eyesore to be built. This building needs immediate transformation. Not much can help, but some trees to hide the ugly medical exterior and open up the hideous front that acts like you are about board an airplane through security. I am absolutely ashamed of this building and how they treat people waking in.
