Allen is a very knowledgeable estate planner who has lots of experience in this area. He asks pertinent and thought provoking questions that helped us understand the process. I thought I knew a little bit about estate planning and wills and I knew very little. It was very insightful.

Very unimpressed with service provided by Allen, after dealing with thousands in fees/interest charges from the government thanks to a lack of due diligence on his part. RRSP and TFSA contribution rooms were mixed up, not to be caught for several years; we didn't receive so much as an apology, let alone an offer to reimburse. That doesn't include the issue of investment choices not aligning whatsoever with client time horizon or stage of life. After deciding to move assets, we still didn't even get an email or phone call asking about what happened. Save yourself future hassle and avoid.

We approached Tom Manion of Manion and Associates Financial Services will little understanding or concern for our future financial or retirement plans. It was not until we had our "one on one" meeting with him that we had realized the importance of professional help.
