After another firm was willing to take my case but were too busy with upcoming court cases. I contacted disability wise and told they couldn’t help me. Yet, a few days later. I received an email from a law firm in Toronto. They got my information from Disability Wise, who referred me. Thank to them, my case was accepted by the insurance company. Unfortunately, because of ignorance. The denial cost me my only means of transportation I had. A 2022, $50,000 care that I only owed $18,000 on. Had to tell sell it or it was my home that I had to sell. A roof over my head is more important. I feel like a did something wrong by becoming disabled and then denied. Once lawyers involved. The insurance company sure sand a different song! I still want to know how the insurance companies can get away with basically stealing my car. I worked hard for it, only having to sell it because of the insurance company. Feeling like insurance companies can control people’s lives and they will try and destroy it just so they can eat steak and lobster. These lawyers here. They care and I truly believe that they become lawyers because of all the injustice caused by these selfish insurance companies. I still want my car back. Only 40,000 km on it. Now, I’m stuck at home all the ty. Rely on good church going friends for rides into the city. There is no public transportation here. To get to the nearest city. It’s $20 each way. If they want me to eventually go back to work or find another job. How? My car payments were $400/month. Taking the handi/Bus back and forth. Five days a week for a month Do the math. If feel like I was robbed by this insurance company. My question is how can they get away with this? Are their any laws so this would be illegal.
