Ken is a professional home inspector who has been very thorough in his practice. Ken took literally hundreds of pictures and spent enough time post-inspection to go over the issues he found. He also suggested possible solutions and estimated costs to get the issues fixed and the urgency of doing so.
Ken arrives on time and provided an enough report to clearly address the issues. I would certainly use Ken for as long as he is still practicing his professional business.

We enlisted Ken Mayo, as he had done a previous inspection for us, and we had been very pleased with the thoroughness. When the time came for us to bid on a new property, we wanted to ensure we knew what we were getting into. Ken took the time to carefully consider a variety of significant concerns that arose on the property. These were not nitpicky items, rather significant potential structural issues that would have cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars had we walked in blind. Ken took more than 200 photos, and this helped us understand all of the various high-risk areas in the property. He went up into the attic as well, and found a number of different concerns with rodents and leaks. My wife and I realized after reviewing the report, that he had steered us away from a horrible decision, and we are very grateful for that. We laughed to each other that was the best money we have ever spent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this inspector. He is professional, thorough, and turned his report around to us very quickly when we needed a quick answer.

Ken was able to come to the site within literal hours of notice - timing was important for our offer (there was competition) so this was a great start. Ken was super thorough, professional and sharp - he caught many things that the competition's inspector didn't. He inspected every nook and cranny and explained all issues to me in detail (as well as writing everything in an in-depth report.)
Bonus: In addition to being reeeally good at his job, he's such a nice guy.
I couldn't have asked for a better home inspector - and I don't hesitate to recommend him.
