I had the same situation as J G below. I had to conclude my home purchase and agreed on some expense over the phone. Once I went to her notary to get my documents and pay for my bill I got a tone of disbursment fees including an insane number for printing. She is very unprofessional and I do not think rude is enough to explain her behavior. I wish I had read the reviews here before going to her office and destroy my day and waste my money. I wish I could do 0 star instead of 1.

Cannot say enough great things about this notary. We typically use Portia Tam. But had a tricky request this time round that they would not accommodate. Susan Bashiri Notary not only accommodated our request for transfer of funds out of province but made sure the paperwork was done 2 weeks before as we were headed out of country. Couldn’t be happier about how smooth everything went! Highly recommend!

I would never recommend this notary public office. She charges excessively high fees and only accept cash or e-transfer, likely to avoid paying taxes. They charge $50 per page, even though the standard rate should be $40 for the first page and only $10 for each additional page. Run away from her.
