All I can say is should you use him, be careful. He exaggerates, and makes false claims, additionally his work is sloppy. He is also extremely emotional and is quick to anger. Do not ask him to recalculate anything as he will flip out!

I would never use this fellow again and will be trying to figure out what can be done through the notary society

I did not use foul language other than calling Jason a liar. I spoke with numerous people including the police officer I called for your behaviour and incorrect accounting and no-one had issue with my grasp of the English language.

It is interesting that you try to defend your incorrect accounting and and imply issues in my personal life. It does make one wonder! Please watch Jasons temperament.

I can say that I will be going back to the two lawyers I trust. I would recommend that anyone reading the post go elsewhere. Further, I can recommend good lawyers on the lower mainland or in Ontario.

My venture into using a notary will be marked a a lesson learned but never to be repeated.

To all, be careful with this man. He will take your money and make you figure out how to resolve his mistakes!

My wife recently visited this notary to get some inheritance documents notarized. She lost her father, so this process was already emotionally difficult. Instead of handling the matter with professionalism and empathy, the notary repeatedly commented on how ‘lucky’ she was due to the inheritance. Such remarks are extremely insensitive and left my wife shaken and in tears. Losing a loved one is not lucky, and anyone in this profession should know how to conduct themselves with tact and compassion when clients are managing grief and complex family matters. Very disappointing experience.

Edit: I was wondering what the non apology would look like. He even started asking how much she was getting. This gentleman seems more money focused the person at the other end they are dealing with. Also repeating asking how “lucky” a person is that their dad is dead is really missing the mark.
