Just over a year ago, I put an anonymous post on our local community page needing help for WSIB appeal I just lost and wanted to appeal it. I asked for recommendations on lawyers etc. A very sweet soul replied asking me to message her as her husband had great representation and we should get in contact. So I did. She couldn't say enough about Michelle and how she helped her husband with WSIB.

I contacted Michelle just over a year ago after my failed appeal that I self represented. A huge mistake that I thought I could do it.

Michelle and I had a chat and laid out the details of the next steps.
Well last week was the hearing, and I felt Michelle gave me the best opportunity to be able to tell my story in front of the panel. I actually didn't feel nervous. Even though it was all through zoom, I felt like she was beside me guiding me through the process. There were a lot of sensitive details but they were handled with grace and professionalism.

I did not have the same opportunity to talk during the appeal. Probably because I didn't know my path through it.

Anyhow, no matter how this turns out, I know Michelle and the team did their best work.

Michelle Zare has literally saved my life. I have served my community with care and distinction, too bad I wasn’t treated the same.
