I absolutely love this place. The lawyers are kind and genuine. ALI was amazing and helped me so much, and he even helped me on a weekend. And Candace was so good to help with my other legal matters. Made the mistake of using this place for family law. Explained to the lawyer that I only needed her to speak for me in court since I was fighting cancer at the time. I didn't need anything else, I can do most of the paperwork. She spent the amount we agreed on, and asked for more. I gave her another payment, she used that before court, again, and asked a third time for more money. Again I only required her to speak to the judge for me, a single, half day in court, where, I would also be present and know the case well. I told her I would not pay a third time. She then accepted a payment from a third party without my consent and against my wishes. Told me I would never get what I was asking for in court, after two payments and having all the details from the start, then dropped me just before the court date. I got everything I asked for in court, despite her saying I wouldn't, even with her help. In the end I'm not sure what I payed for.
Edit. Haha You have to love lawyer's, patting themselves on the back even when contributing nothing. If you need more clarification, I could send you copies of all the emails between your lawyer and myself. They tell a different story. And you didn't comment on taking payments from third parties without knowledge of the client. I guess that's a bit more serious than the rest of the complaint.
If you're looking for a lawyer, I would consider their response even more than my complaint.
