After 2 phone calls and a letter, l replied that the debt owed to a bank was not me! They previously mailed a letter to a different address, got no response so seemingly went fishing hoping to get the correct recipient. I w as informed this claim was filed to my name and if l was a victim of identity theft, l should notify the police. Very shoddy legal work on their behalf. Am l to believe l am the only person with my name? Um no! l contacted my bank ( no relation to their claim ) and they put me in touch with a service to deny this claim against me, the wrong guy. EDIT: their favourite quip is "are you a delinquent debtor of one of our clients?" they really do practice in the most unethical way possible. I have never spoken with anyone so disrespectful in my life. They will try to make things as painful for their victims as possible. If you're reading this and they're coming after you, don't buckle. Don't let them win. Defend yourself. They're schoolyard bullies - the bigger they are, the harder they fall. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

If i can give 0 stars I would. My experience with this law firm was not by choice. It was as a result of a small claims from a bank I owed some money to. When I was originally contacted, they worded the email in an unemphatic and confrontational way. They also did not fill the proper paperwork needed through small claims court, which I ended up having to initiate as a result of how forceful and threatening their letter sounded. Once we got to court, the lawyer was not able to be present and had a paralegal show up in their place, who was not familiar with case.

As if that wasn't enough, they only provided 1 option for me to resolve the matter. When I asked if there were other options, they said no. Thus, resulting in me having to look elsewhere for representation and guidance throughout these proceedings only to find out they acting against the law in that they needed to provide me 3 options to resolve my matter and I have documentation saved that only shows 1, along with their unemphatic and forceful tactics.

In reviewing some of the other reviews of this law firm, and seeing that they have a 1.9 rating overall speaks volumes. I hope I never have to deal with this firm.

I want to start by saying that I’m certainly not proud that my debt ended up in the hands of Christensen Law Firm. They gave me plenty of opportunities to resolve the situation, but unfortunately, I didn’t take action when I should have. As a result, my wages were garnished for five months, and it was a tough experience. But at the end of the day, you sleep in the bed you make.

Looking back, I realize I didn’t have to make things harder on myself. Christensen Law Firm was willing to work with me on a repayment amount that was a third of what I ultimately paid through wage garnishment. On top of that, I had to go through the embarrassment of involving my HR team in the situation—something that could have been avoided.

For anyone who finds themselves in a similar position, take a moment to listen to what they have to say. We all make mistakes, but don’t make it harder or more expensive than it has to be.

I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about the staff, but personally, I never experienced a rude call. At the end of the day, they’re just doing their jobs, and I can only imagine how difficult it must be to call people about delinquent debts all day, often facing hostility in return. We’re all human, just trying to get through life.

Be careful with this law firm. There's a lot of illegal business happening here. Also I'm looking forward to their oh-so-eloquent, "are you a delinquent debtor?" response.

This law firm is so stupid we are receiving the letter from last year and we are explaining this over and over that we don’t have any account in this bank where they showing owing balance. I don’t know why they cannot fix their system

They are trying to be a collection agency. They say you're going to court shortly, and they never take you. They call from a Cambridge number or a 1800 to mess with you. Just text them at the Cambridge number that you're going to charge with harassment. Have not bothered me since.

Now, 3 weeks later, they are asking if I'm a debtor to one of their clients?
Don't you have a database for that question to be answered?
Proof my review is correct, and they are that they are a fraudulent company.

I have reported all numbers as spam for their answer to my review.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by Mustafa working for Christensen Law Firm. Despite clear laws in Canada that protect disability and pension accounts from garnishment, as outlined under Code 5.16, my account was wrongfully targeted. I informed Mustafa that my income is from the CPP pension and legally protected, yet he told me, 'That's my work, and I don't care,' and proceeded with the garnishment regardless. This action has left me unable to afford food, medication, or car insurance for a month. I find it unacceptable that a legal professional would engage in such practices. I strongly advise others to consider this experience before seeking services from Mustafa.Christensen Law Firm.
