We were referred to Knudson Law Office by a close friend. We had a great experience! Curtis Knudson sat down with us to go over the documents for the purchase of our new property and was extremely thorough. He didn't rush us or make us feel like we were just another number so to speak. There was some delay in responses but it's to be expected during the busiest time of the year for the purchase of property/homes so it was nothing out of the ordinary. We would definitely recommend him to others! I think people have very unrealistic expectations at times and forget that they're not the only client. He treated us great, he was very professional and personable as well. We didn't have any surprises because he was so thorough in explaining everything and answering all of our questions. He even helped us effectively with a dispute between the prior owners and ourselves and was instrumental in our success in getting the dispute resolved and the issue corrected. And we weren't charged any additional fees. Everything went as smoothly as possible and we're very happy with our experience overall!

I hired Curtis Knudson to take care of the legal side of the sale of my condo. He quoted a flat fee which was very competitive. When he met with me he was prepared and very professional. Sale was completed, possession date was April 1 - and money was already being transferred on April 5th. Highly recommend for Real Estate transactions.

We used Knudson Law for the sale of our first home (March/April 2020) and our overall experience was unsatisfactory. The main two issues we faced were poor customer service and mistakes on our paperwork. We moved out of province and struggled to get the Knudson Law team to send us the paperwork we needed to sign. By the time they emailed us the paperwork, the instructions were to fill it in ASAP and to courier it overnight (which was at our own expense), which would not have been necessary had the paperwork been emailed in good time. Knudson Law checked our remaining mortgage amount nine days before processing our paperwork (six days before the house was officially sold) and did not double check before processing the paperwork to confirm nothing had changed. Within that time, our automatic mortgage payments went through. Now we are left waiting for the bank to confirm the new amount of the mortgage remaining. Additionally, we received communication via email from Curtis himself 8 days after our home has been sold to inform us we owe money to the bank. After a few emails back and forth, including to the bank, we discovered the team at Knudson Law put the wrong amount in our Sale Report and so we had to pay that amount back, money which we had already begun spending. We understand mistakes happen, but it is was the rude tone in the emails and not owning up to the mistake being on their end that was the most frustrating part. Now we are working with a new notary for the purchase of our second home, and it is clear to us what excellent customer service can be like, and how much more comforting this is for something as stressful as buying or selling a home. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Knudson Law office to anyone wanting good customer experience.

Our company worked with Knudson Law to review real estate documents and get advice on questions we had about a real estate purchase we were considering. Curtis Knudson was very thorough in answering our questions and gave us some important advice to consider. Knudson Law also worked on our shareholder agreement which helped simplify the process for us. The rates were very reasonable, especially given the amount of time he spent with us. We highly recommend Curtis and his staff.

I would never recommend anyone use the services of Knudson law office!! We used them for the sale and purchase of our new home this past fall. They were beyond ridiculous. The office staff as well as Mr. Knudson were rude and would never get back to you in a timely mannor. The main office person Anthony was beyond rude and condescending. He also constantly made errors, some including very large errors. Ended up costing us alot of extra money in the process on late fees and additional interest. I had to correct his work more times then i can count. I also had a price negotiated with them before we started and he charged me almost double and then denied we had arranged that price.
The new house had some things wrong with it and part of our fee was for him to help us deal with it. Most of it he couldnt be bothered to help us in any way. He had asked me to send him some paperwork back in mid December on a couple of the issues which i did the same day he asked for it. It is now Feb and i have not ever received a reply from him. We have called and left numerous emails and nothing!! I guarantee that almost anyone would do a better job then these guys and not cause a nervous breakdown in the process 😡

Knudson Law office seemed great until we hired them. To be frank, after entering contract, Mr Knudson came across like a robot who was not helpful, knowledgeable or pleasant to interact with. Their fees were way over what our realtor, who referred us, told us to expect and on top of fees, Knudson Law Office charged disbursements that nearly doubled the cost. One example disbursement was a $120 charge for the use of software. We were charged this fee for both the sale of our home and purchase of a home. So $240 disbursement charge for the use of software.

I was in no way pleased with the service after entering contract with Knudson Law and I would not recommend them.

I was referred by my realtor to Knudson law when purchasing my first home. The overall experience with this office was terrible. They don’t seem to care about customer satisfaction. Too many errors on paperwork. We were told we would get our final papers in about 4-6 weeks and it took them over 3 months. Never respond to emails or phone calls or voicemails. If you somehow manage to get a hold of someone they come up with excuses and don’t follow through. All in all I had a terrible experience and do not recommend them at all!!!!!

Some guy from there called me and set up an appt. However i received 0 information before this meeting and therefore there was no need for a meeting. Now I’m supposed to go and close the sale of my house and have the money transferred and they want more money just to go in. Terrible service and wont ever use them again and will definitely tell others to stay away.
