I hard good things about this firm and chose to have them handle my father’s estate after another professional recommended them.
I only dealt with one lawyer at the firm so I can not comment on the whole firm.
Being this was my first estate I needed more hand holding through the process.
At the end I was asked “how was your experience” and I said more hand holding needed to be done and it was not a good experience.
So I received a call back approx two weeks later and all it was was the lawyer being defensive and in my opinion condescending. “It’s my first time going through this as an executor and her customer.
I really found her tone to be disrespectful and to hear how long she had been doing this did not help at all. Anyway, i have to adjust to my customers and take different approaches all the time. Sadly, I will be an executer a few more times in my life and will go elsewhere.

Not a good experience -- the lawyer missed the initial phone appointment so I walked to the firm instead to talk to her. She had me in the office for close to 2 hours in total to go over 1 agreement in providing "independent legal advice". She had missed having me sign in 2 places, her signature in 1 place, an initial and overlooked correcting the date in 2 places on the copies. For that she billed me $1300. After protesting the overbilling, I was able to get a refund of $440. No apology that I had to make a third appointment to complete signing and there was a scramble to find the refund cheque after I asked for it. It certainly wasn't offered to me at that third signing appointment. Poor showing.
