Kobus and Leah were so supportive helping my family and I with the estate of my dad and the issues that arose with the BC Government in regards to my brother's with disabilities. They made a difficult time easier and helped ease some of the burden and I cannot thank them enough!

Went back and forth in an email with i assume a receptionist, beating around the bush about notarizing a power of attorney. When I rushed around sent them everything they needed and 3 days later told me that they actually don’t even have time to do it. Don’t waste your time

Called spoke to a legal assistant.. briefly outlined a civil case. Was advised I would get a call to set up consult. Waited a week called back spoke to same assist agsin advised I would be called for a appointment. Never got a call.
Went to another lawyer. The respondent settled $75,000 case.

I used this company in Invermere, B.C. when I sold my townhouse.
I had to constantly follow up to make sure things were being done as there was next to no correspondence.
Jonathan Sievenpiper was the lawyer but of course his paralegal did most of the work. While she was pleasant enough she totally dropped the ball in paying out my mortgage!
After checking with my mortgage company they said they never received the payout! Rockies Law completely forgot and then tried to charge me the interest for being late with the payment!
I DO NOT recommend them at all! Speaking with other clients of theirs in Invermere they too have expressed disappointment with them.
Very unprofessional! Made me feel like they were doing me a favour by paying for their own mistake! No discount on the overall fee either after I did most of their work for them!
How brutal when serving such a small community?!
Stay far away!

They were able to get me in quick for a home purchase when my other lawyer couldn't do it in Calgary. I've used a few of there locations in the past for notaries when in the Kootenays on holiday and always professional service.

Nothing will happen without an addition "time and costs incurred' that you wont know of or be warned about. Keep and extra few hundred for that.
