If I could give 0 stars I would. I called Mr. Robinson's office last week to set up an appointment to register a basement suite on a land title. I spoke to Mr. Robinson directly on the phone and explained exactly what I needed to do. He assured me he could take care of this and help me out. I made the appointment for yesterday and showed up at the office with the necessary documents. Mr. Robinson hummed and hawed and told me that he was really busy and that this was going to take a lot of work and that he had a lot of stuff on his plate right now. I told him that I wasn't in a rush, but instead of telling me directly that he didn't want my business, he gave more excuses as to why my request would be difficult for him to do. If you didn't want my work, why didn't you just tell me on the phone that you weren't willing to take on my job? Why waste my time making an appointment and then I show up and you refuse to help me? Customer service is obviously not a priority and he evidently is so busy that he won't do anything that might require him to make a couple phone calls. Sorry to inconvenience you Mr. Robinson, I would hate for you to actually have to do some work instead of just put a stamp on a piece of paper and charge $$$$$. Stay away!

Needed immediate assistance in a matter and contacted several Notary Publics in the area.

Mr. Robinson understood the urgency and was able to squeeze us in and quickly sort out what needed to be done.

His efficiency and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

When it came time to pay I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable he was.

I appreciated it even more when I  later received  a quote from one of the other Notary Public I had contacted in the area  which was 7 times more than what Mr. Robinson charged.

Would definitely recommend him.

My husband and I are new first time home owners. We reached out to get quotes from notaries and laywers in our area to finalize the purchase of our new home.

When I contact James L Robinson's office to as for a quote I was told by the lady who answered the phone that there was no way for the office to provide me with an estimation of the cost to do, as there were many factors that they could not predict.

They were the only group contacted that did not provide any sort of quote at all and I hung up the phone wondering if I should reach out to the owner to advise them of the way that their business is being represented.

I just used this firm to refinance my property. I have to say that Ashley was awesome. She worked so hard to get my file completed for me on time. Both her and James were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them

Zero star rating is the most accurate rating as we had a very disturbing experience using this Notary. We had a verification letter written by him and was charged $50. It was later noticed several mistakes were made in the writing. I returned to the office with the detailed receipt and letter to be corrected. Not only would the Notory not correct the letter but he ABSOLUTELY denied writing it in the first place and refused all responsibility. The receipt was presented and a recall of the appointment only to be told I must have attended his office for anothewr purpose. An out and out liar. Never go there!!!

Very Disappointing experience. Came to my scheduled appointment but he left already, half an hour before the office closes. No calls or email before leaving. This is extremely rude. I came all the way form Poco to my scheduled appointment.

Sent a 93 year old client to see him to do her will. He was extremely rude, condescending, impatient and short with the client.... he even shushed her. Very disrespectful! Well never refer anyone to this notary every again!
