I used to have an amazing broker, knew her by name, emailed her whenever I needed anything, then Western Financial Group took over and I found myself having to dial a 1-800 number every time instead. Years later, multiple brokers later and after a 22% increase in premiums after the last one lost the contract with the underwriter, I found myself shopping around again. I decided to give McDougall Insurance in Petawawa a try, and who else gets back to me but my original broker that I loved so much! I was able to go in and chat with her face to face to set up my new policy, and I can call or email her whenever I need anything. The way insurance should be done.
