Granny has lots of stories from a long time ago about her mom, brothers and sisters, 'adoption becoming the better option' and as much as she can remember from what she learned about before the 1900s she saved when she got out of there. Can't wait to get my education and come home I still remember gutting salmon and sitting out for long hours at night on the big concrete bridge, sleeping in the van waiting for the boys to be done fishing. Sleeping until dawn and coming back with their haul in the morning. I was only 7 but I think I still remember lots from this place. Hope they remember my cheeky little smile when I got the picture for my card in the band office 🙂 Maybe when I come back I'll hear stories about Granny Clothilde too! Love my home even when I'm far away.

Its central to its reserve and therefore membership. The band office is small. My ex-in-laws received a lot of services there and attend a lot of events. My sons mom is from this band, so my sons get to do a lot here, such as go to school and attend an after school program. A lot gets to be done for its members and their children. Just not much for its non band members it seems.....like for me when I stayed there. Thats ok. I didn't take it personal. Its just an honest review. They have a very involved Chief and Council that take development seriously, as well as a treaty process.
