I had the pleasure of working with Richard P. (lawyer) and Jillian (paralegal) for the purchase of my condo. The process was so smooth and Richard was so detailed in his explanation to all the questions I asked him at every step of the way. Not once did he lose his patience and the way he explained all the legal language and process was absolutely wonderful. It made me feel like I was purchasing a condo as an informed buyer, which is super important. Jillian was so organized and did an amazing job in making sure I was informed of all the steps, and she also sent me all the documents I needed before our signing meeting so I was able to come in prepared. I used Robertson LLP for the purchase of a home. The overall process for was fairly smooth as you would expect for a simple residential purchase transaction. The paralegal I worked with was great to deal with and communicated what to expect over the course of the process very well. That being said, there was a miscommunication relating to whether holdback funds in trust had been released or not. I communicated my confusion, and the lawyer (Richard P.) promptly called me to resolve this. In addition, he took the time to walk me through the overall status of the transaction and demonstrated how knowledgeable he is regarding the laws associated with real estate.
