Called the number for the location I had made an appointment at before I went to be sure they were not backlogged.
The phone number is a joke. It has everything but a real person.
When I did go to the New Hamburg location things went very smoothly for my 3:30 appointment. 5 stars to the staff there. No stars to whoever designed the phone in number for New Hamburg location.

Staff is always lovely, but when it comes to actually getting your blood taken. Everytime I've gone (all diffrent techs) I have been horribly bruised due to improper needle insertion (the needle going straight through my vein).

I tried to give this place one last chance, this time I went in for a dual requisition, I had 7 tubes to fill. The women who did my blood was older and not very friendly at all. When she put the needle in she placed it wrong insuring it into a pressure valve. While putting a tube in and swapping them she wasn't able to keep it steady and was causing me so much pain because she was rushing, they weren't busy at ALL. I managed to get through 5 tubes but felt myself passing out. I managed to catch myself in time but I was really struggeling to recover, pale, cold sweats, hearing loss, lightheaded. I realize that I took a while (30 minutes) to recover but this all could have been avoided had she not rushed. After being in the room for 20 minutes I was feeling better but not good enough to get up, I had someone coming to get me because I could no longer drive myself. The lady who did my blood rushed me out of the room rudely and had me continue to recover in the waiting room. She also didn't wipe down the seat after I was dripping sweat in there before rushing another person to get their blood taken. Absolutely disappointed in the service here as it used to be so good and I'd never had problems like this prior to a year.

This is the rudest business I have ever dealt with. Their posted office sign has not been read by the staff ie "Work place violence". Why they feel it is necessary to yell and be rude is unacceptable. If you are not happy in your job do not take it out on us.

The receptionists are all beyond rude! To me to everyone in the waiting room! There was a man I’m guessing up in his 80s who wanted to make an appointment and the lady yelled at him repeating what she said 10 minutes prior, he was probably hard of hearing and just took it upon himself to go to the front and ask her and she lost it on him made a few of the other patients in the waiting room look around at eachother, make some jokes about being yelled at if we asked a question. They are awful!

Very negative experience from start to finish. Rude and condescending, unnecessarily authoritative. Everyone who came in was asked if they had an appointment and, if not, were informed it would be at least an hour wait regardless of how many people were in the waiting room. My child had blood drawn which took two tries making the experience uncomfortable. I have gone to this location for years and never had such a terrible experience. Things have changed.

Worst life labs I have ever been to. The staff are rude and lazy. They will sit at the front desk talking in the phone “not about work” then they say the longer wait times are because they lost a staff. Nop they take ever to do anything including checkin in which took over (15mins) they let people that missed there appointments by over 30mins right in to the front of the line. Walking you will be waiting hours not because they are busy. The waiting room had 3 people and I waited over an hours for no reason. They are slow, rude and managed poorly. Save your time and frustrations and drive to Kitchener/waterloo. Even with an appointment I watched people wait 45/50mims after their appointment to be seen.

Druhvi was "groovy"!  Druhvi in New Hamburg did a great job drawing blood. I was really nervous not knowing how well it would go. She was very kind, patient, gentle and efficient. It was done in no time and she even helped me with some chanting that I knew to calm me. Also very cheerful and pleasant. Nice to be around. I will ask for her when I have to get my blood drawn again

Surprised the reviews are so varied for this lab. I had no trouble booking online for some blood work and arrived maybe 3 mins early. I was warmly received by receptionist and sent right into a patient room. Nurse took perhaps 5 mins to arrive and was very friendly and efficient.
