My mother was short .76 cents for the initial consultation fee and couldn't make ends meet. There was no consultation. Some time later, I call in to book a new appointment for her and they're asking for a few hundred dollars more, because according to the person I talked with, said my mom had already had a consultation. We'll be seeing a different attorney.
