Geraldine is an excellent lawyer, who is confident, motivated, passionate, intelligent and highly experienced! With her advanced knowledge of family law, she successfully won and/or fought off motion after motion for me, with regards to parenting schedules, third-party information requests, etc. However the biggest win of all was at the conclusion of my week-long final trial. My husband and I were very disappointed when we called about an addition to our wills.
We knew at the time we would have to make an addition. Geraldine said it would be no problem but when we called her in less than a year she told us she was no longer doing wills and couldn't help us. This has left us with no one to update our wills.

I had the good fortune to be able to retain Geraldine, initially as representation and later on a limited scope retainer, when my civil co-parenting turned contentious overnight and I needed to find a lawyer ASAP! She took on my case with a passion that was above and beyond what I would have expected from legal representation. She was clear with calling me out on the direction I wanted to proceed if she felt it unwise, or if she noticed me falling back into pre-court patterns of bending to accommodated ex. There was no point that I ever had concern for where my money was going, if she was acting in my best interest, should I follow her direction, if more could have been done, or other complaints I hear so many people express with their lawyers. There were times she told me things I did not want to hear that I had to come to terms with, but I am forever grateful that she was forthcoming with the hurdles we would face and the reality checks rather than lead me on. There were rip the band-aid off moments that helped me mentally fortify to have realistic expectations going into things. Ultimately, after years of refusals, my ex settled with an agreement near identical to the original settlement offer Geraldine drafted that had been initially rejected by him in full. Had the matter gone to trial, as it nearly did, I would have been in an ideal situation to be granted costs thanks to her direction and having me set reasonable expectations from the very start. While on the limited scope retainer I still felt my matter was a priority to her. She maintained the same spitfire drive to see me succeed that she did from day one right until the end! She is a force to be reckoned with who's confidence is contagious! I will forever be grateful for all she did to restore normalcy to my family
