We took the Firearms safety course last weekend and I can't stop raving about how amazing our instructors were. Mike and Tom were so much fun. I have the attention span of a nat and get easily bored in classrooms, thankfully they were far from boring. They were engaging, patient, and kind.
I feel very thankful to have had them as our instructors.
Also when you call in, Cathy( not sure the correct spelling) is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. She's very helpful and super friendly. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

This is my 3rd experience at SSNS. This time I was doing the motorcycle course. The instructors were amazing knowledgeable and very professional and friendly. They were accommodating and allowed you to choose a bike that it your style. Everything was done with safety in mind. I would highly recommend the course.

Thank you Jeff (Not sure if this is the correct spelling) and Chief.

Took the Motorcycle safety foundations course with Safety services this past weekend. As a former rider not have being on two wheels for twenty plus years I was nervous to get back on a motorcycle. The team of instructors was supportive and very responsive to questions silly or serious. I was happy to see that while others had issues and challenges the instructors didn't chastise them or ridicule them as I've had read horror stories of other MSF courses abroad. I extremely recommend anyone take this course if you're beginner or returning after a long time of not riding. The course was easy and a ground up style from basics to a road ready (depending on your confidence after.) level. Thanks guys!

I took the Spyder course with Safety Services at Halifax.Might find pricy ,but it was worth it and amazing. The instructors were so nice, they went through everything in detail, gave demos of each exercise and gave made us practice the skills through repetitive takes and I successfully completed my training and achieved my license endorsement.

Thanks a lot to the whole crew!!

I dont recommend anyone who is going to attend non-restricted firearms course here, the instructors has a poor skills of teaching. Doesn’t answer to the questions rather than focus on finishing the course. I have done a lot of safety courses but haven’t seen somebody like that. They just speak their part doesn’t matter students learn or not. They just want students to fail and come again for the course. Fortunately, they behave as racist.

I did the motorcycle safety course at SSNS in Bayers Lake last weekend. I cannot express how much I recommend it for new riders. The instructors were super helpful and patient and made the course fun. They had a good range of bikes to choose from, which I was worried about because of my height, but there was something there for everyone.

To sum up, i was offended by one of instructors in firearms training program. And then the fast speed of speaking of instructor is absolutely unfriendly for immigrants who are non-english-native speakers. What a terrible experience i have ever had in Nova Scotia

I recently completed the motorcycle training and licensing course offered through Safety Services Nova Scotia, and I can confidently say it was the best experience I've ever had in a training program. But don't get me wrong—you're not paying to get a license. You're paying to save your life.

The motorcycle training program is remarkably thorough. The facilitators are incredibly patient, encouraging, and experts in their field. They are in your corner, serving as your cheerleaders, genuinely wanting to see you succeed. The two days I spent learning how to ride a motorcycle again were among the most incredible experiences I've had. The program restored my confidence and equipped me with new skills that are invaluable.

Even during the testing phase, when I was very nervous, one of the instructors came over, gave me a little pep talk, and told me to think of watermelons. That simple, quirky advice did wonders to calm my nerves and helped me focus.

If you are considering learning how to ride a motorcycle, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take this program. It is well worth the investment. While it may seem expensive to some, the cost is justified when you think about the life-saving skills you'll acquire from these incredible instructors. I cannot emphasize enough how much this course has benefited me, and I believe it can do the same for you.
