It's a very nice Rocky Beach. Many years ago it used to be a popular sandy beach, but due to sand removal the beach went through big geological changes. Which is a pity, because the location is great. Also, the entrance to the beach goes through a private area and kind of makes it unwelcoming. But if you go beyond the signs, it's actually a really good beach.

A nice view down there! Take the short path down the private easement to the secluded silver sands beach. A rocky beach but very nice to stop here along our journey. I will be back to explore further.

Beautiful place to relax, enjoy the scenery and take a walk on the beach with friends, family or pup. Open 7 days a week! The serenity of the waves are always calling.

Ross Rhyno, professional a**hole. He blocked access to the beach, so you can get a photo in front of the moose statue; Look at the 400G house and it’s kitsche collection of trailer park folkart, including commodes and colorful porta-potties, behind a fence, and leave. Halifax sued him in April to allow access to the beach, past the narrow road he fenced in. We’ll see what happens next. The city had NO problem violently evicting the homeless from their neat little park with their brand new store bought tent city. But him - nothing for years.
Now, the beach is “closed”. Stay tuned

Supposed to be a public access to the beach but you cannot get there. Some nut case has a bunch of signs and fences put up. Avoid until the city resolves this

The sand is gorgeous and lots of beautiful rocks. A great place to go to get some peace. Very calming and relaxing.
