After my first “free” consult with Haig, I provided my deposit only to be met with extremely slow service that I had to call and follow up on far too often. By the first paid meeting I had to repeat every bit of information I had originally provided as if nobody had taken any notes or written down a single word. I was provided with a mediator in training but was paying for Haig still as well. After repeating my entire case to her, I was told my spouse was in a tough spot and was unable to pay her half of the mediation fees, only to lose contact with the office almost entirely once they received my money. After over a month, all they had done for me was make a single phone call and it costed me $1000. Since then, this office has neglected my case and the last email I received telling me they’d call me tomorrow was from Mid-December. It’s now Mid-January and I never got a call. I asked if there was any funds left from my two deposits to be refunded and was met with no response. Thankfully I did not proceed with the retainer fee as it would have broken me financially to do so and be met with this lack of care and service.

UPDATE 01/30/23 - Most of my deposit was refunded. Appreciated.

I met Syed in regards to my family matter (custody and access) and from the first meeting; Syed was very professional and gave sound advise.
