The dirtiest hotel in the dirtiest town in Alberta... They mop the rooms with dirty water (see the baseboards) Stay in a other town if possible, Best Western is the only nice hotel in Fox Creek. There's dirt / garbage / matresses / & broken appliances all over the property, and they don’t clean/maintain it, AT ALL !

Older but well kept, bathrooms are renovated nicely. The kitchenette are decent, could improve the oven and stock the plates and cutlery better but is OK

After Expedia fumbled the pricing, the front desk staff was very helpful in cancelling the reservation without fee and getting me into the room I reserved. I’m very appreciative to the front desk person as she was great to deal with despite my confusion and frustration. She was very helpful and very courteous.
Room was clean and very nice for a smaller town hotel. Would recommend to others and will definitely be back.

It does look rough on the outside, but the inside is great. Stayed in a suit with a king bed in one room, and queen bed plus pullout couch in the main room. The bathroom was fancy and clean. Room was kept tidy and 2 tvs were included. I enjoyed my stay and the room was overall a nice place for the price, and the lady at the front desk gave me a deal on the room.

Edit to add: we have talked to them since posting this and the front desk said that all of the negative rooms on this review page were tied to one cleaner. I hope this is the fire power needed to dismiss this cleaner, as it seems to be an ongoing battle and is seriously hurting their business. It would be nice if the rooms are better, as many of truckers refuse to stay at this hotel because of the state it is in. They would rather sleep in their trucks than have a free night there; It's not just us. I just finally became tired of having my significant other stay in filth and spoke up. They said they have way better rooms to offer and are wanting us to stay again in one of those. (Not sure why we were offered the dirty rooms over and over again). When I go back up, I will stay there and update my review as needed.
As for now, all I can say is Thank you for trying to fix the situation.

Original rant: Room was SUUUPER dirty. Coffee pot still had old coffee bag in it, lamp was covered in major dust, the one time we stayed, I think it was in the "non smoking" smoking room, as the smoke detector was torn off the ceiling and it smelled of major smoke. We both woke up with major lung problems and congestion with sore throats, the next day. Felt like we smoked a pack of cigarettes.

Another night we stayed, the tv and satellite didn't connect. Floors were grubby, towels that we used to wipe up shower water in the bathroom came up hairy and black. The air conditioning system had the front torn off so you had no idea how to adjust your machine. Ended up just unplugging it from the wall when it got too chilly inside. Oh!! The coffee cups still had orange juice stuck inside them from the previous tenants and in the other room we stayed.. the coffee cups were unwashed as well, as they still had the same dirty fingerprints all over them. Like, I can see not cleaning your room when you are there for 3 days in a row, but when you are there every other night, and given the same room 3 times in a row.. with the exact same dirty fingerprinted cups.. you know it wasn't cleaned in between. Not impressed at all. I know your guests are 'just truckers' but c'mon. They deserve some decency as well. 👏Do Better👏 .. and for $90+ a night!?!? Yeah, maybe $49...

Bonus? Ummm, white sheets and a large fridge. Let's hope they wash the sheets covering the duvet cover after each guest too. Fingers crossed.

Why didn't we tell the front desk? Would it make a difference? My significant other has had 4 different rooms and they were all the same. They HAVE to know and just honestly not care. How could they not know?
