I'd love to know where these 5 star reviews came from. If your insurance company recommends this company take a payout and get literally anyone else. Painful to deal with. Slow. You need to constantly follow up just to get them to make any progress at all. I wish I could go back in time and get another company. The work would have been completed 2 months ago. Poor work quality overall, attempted to get sign off on a number of sub par tasks and only after threatening to contact my insurance company did they agree to fix deficiencies. Couldn't possibly have had a worse experience

More than happy with the final results! All members of the team (deconstruction, construction, flooring, cabinetry, painting, plumbing and cleaning) involved did great work and very responsive to addressing any concerns throughout the project. We did not experience anyone who didn’t treat the work as if it was repairs being done to their own home. Special shout out to Lamar for his steady and calm approach when things may not have gone as planned. He was always available to provide updates along the way and when required, in person. Much appreciated.

Just had an encounter with their service plumber Craig in fort mcmurray. Funny thing is I worked with this guy for two weeks with another company don't really know him and he certainly doesn't know me. Craig feels it's alright in a service van marked with company logos to be seen throwing up the middle finger in traffic. Grow up your doing a massive disservice to the company you work for now, I see why you have been fired or let go from every company you have worked for in the Fort to date. Poor poor Image reflectio reflection on service master.

If I could give zero stars, I would! This company is a scam! They wanted to charge us 15k to remove everything in our attic due to molding! He went up into our attic and told us there was mold everywhere and gave us a 15K bill. I think he hoped it would be an "insurance job" so an easy scam he could make. However, our insurance would cover the costs, so for two whole years we saved up our money trying to get the mold out of our attic, fearing what this would do to our's and our baby's lungs. As a mother, I was terrified and riddled with anxiety over it. We're still struggling financially, but we couldn't stand it anymore and decided to get someone else in to see if maybe they could do the job for less money.

LOW AND BEHOLD THERE IS NO MOLD ANYWHERE!!! And our problem we have been living with for YEARS can now be easily fixed for only $500.

I am disgusted with this company. Never use them. They'll lie to your face and charge you up the A-hole for nonexistent issues.

Just goes to show you should ALWAYS get a second opinion.

Josh and the rest of the employees of Fort McMurray, service master restore done some incredible work for us. we had stain in the ceiling from bad air circulation in the attic, Josh spent 3 hours in the attic to do an inspection and produce a report for the insurance that made the insurance (new home warranty) change their mind and cover the cost of the repairs. all the repairs were done in a timely fashion, and the end result was perfect, everything promised was delivered as promised. we used them for 2 other repairs on the house and we are entirely satisfied with their work. These peoples are not afraid to go the extra mile... make extra efforts to insure that the work is professionally done and the client is entirely satisfied. they have my full recommendation.

Had my stamd up shower restored from them. It involved the old shower being gutted put, relaying the water liner below and re-tiling. They had also removed the molding outside the shower so that would need to either be replaced or reattached.

Multiple issues. This should be when generous a two week job but took 6.5 weeks to complete.

Numerous times people would show up (randomly) to our house without knowledge of what they were set up to do. At the same time the contractors would expect my wife to relay whatever technical passover was expected to the next team rather then the project manager.

The company bought a new glass for for us to replace the one we had without our input. I told then numerous times we didn't like it as it was straight from the 80s. It is obvious they were trying to cut costs associated with supplies as my wife and I found this door at Rona at a significant discount compared to others.

The guy they had to come in to complete putting back on the trim did a horrible job. Requested the project manager to come to see all the issues associated with that and other things. He refused and actually never showed up once during the project. I found out later they had promoted the trim guy into a project management position. I guess if you can't do, you should lead.

The end result of it being finalized:

A glass door that is both ugly and attached crookedly
Floor tiles that are marked up before using the shower.
A shower head that we can not extend out to the middle of the shower (like we asked) because they assured us it would work without looking at it.
I am still waiting for the report they promised of the before and after close to 6 weeks after the job is done.

I will never use this company again. They are disorganized, not willing to listen, and seem to think they know better than the client.

I gave it two stars because we got our shower back (for now) and Service Master is no longer in our house.

Had a good size leak in my roof & I was suspect of possible mold. These guys had all the proper equipment to check each and every space ( even hard to get areas ) & found out exactly where the mold had built up.

Very impressed with the quality & professionalism. Highly recommend .
