If I could give 0 stars I would. Communication is all but non existant. My experience with Emmanuel C started out on a positive note. I felt like he really was there for me. But his email and phone correspondence is awful. He would take 2-3 days at first to respond, which turned into 10-12 days!! I would call and leave voicemails, send multiple emails. The rental car company called ME asking if I had been in contact with him because they couldn’t get ahold of him. He was always behind in making sure my rental contract had been extended. I had to chase him! I had to follow up with body shop. He told me body shop appraiser denied a piece of my damage repair, body shop said it was him. I was continually given the run around. I’m awaiting a call from his supervisor which is supposed to come within 24 hrs. BEYOND frustrated and disappointed.

Terrible. Car accident on Feb. 26. Been leaving voicemail messages that do not get returned every day since and it’s now March 12. No idea if my car is a write off or what. Horrendous customer service.

Appalling service. Minor flood 6 weeks ago, and never heard back from them after the first-response team was done. Called to check on the hold up and learned they’d closed my claim. I told them to reopen it, and two weeks later, I still have heard nothing. I’ve phoned, emailed, left messages. OTIP needs a new company. This is unacceptable.

It's not just because they said 'NO' to my claim - it's how they did it. My claim was for overland water damage, after a very heavy rainfall. Two adjustors visited, and after 3 weeks of correspondence, wrote that there was no rainfall that day. They had the wrong date. Then for the correct date, 'there wasn't much rain'. Their source for the rainfall was a worldwide forecast site that based its data on the forecast, not on measured data. I had actual measured rainfall from two local sites. Then it was simply 'not covered' in my rider. I'm confident I could win in court, but it was less work and more satisfying to cancel and go with another company. The size of my claim was less than 3 years premiums, take that OTIP/Curo!
