Staples & Swain is very easy to work with and their communication is extremely quick. Unfortunately due to the timing of the file and the approaching holidays, we were unable to complete working together; however, I was impressed that Angus McNeil let us know far ahead of time, which allowed us to pivot and make other arrangements. On top of that, Angus even went out of his way to try to make arrangements for someone else that would be able to help. Even before working with him I was happy to hear how good Angus and his team were to work with from our shaed client who had dealt with him previously in the past. Will definitely be happy to recommend Staples & Swain in the future!

Not very quick with responding to clients. Takes days to hear back.

Very expensive and did not communicate what additional charges were going to be added on our bill.
And...
They didn't try at all to know us and ensure our case was handled with a personable approach and in a timely matter. If you hire these Ladies...ask questions and demand the time you are paying for...we got charged for a software fee...on top of a 5000 dollar retainer.....insane!!!

Angus, Debbie, Heather and I'm sure many very accomplished support staff, made the handling of my late stepfathers estate, as painless as anyone could ever ask for. Although it took a significant amount of time from start to finish - it was purely and solely due to the complexity of the estate, businesses, probate and so on. Angus, Debbie & Heather were nothing short of exemplary and always made themselves available to assist and guide us, when needed. They are proficient, professional and incredible people as human-beings! I would highly recommend (and do recommend them), to anyone who is seeking help with estates, wills, real estate transactions and I'm sure a plethora of other legal support. Very blessed to have found them...my late stepfather had used them for years...It's not hard to understand why!
I cannot say enough about these fine folks... In a world where "willy-nilly" seems to be the acceptable benchmark, Staples & Swain stand out, head and shoulders above most. They are a joy to work with and you'll sleep at night, knowing whatever they did, was done correctly.

As newcomers in this town, it is usually a daunting and intimidating feeling whenever you need to go for legal services. Not with Staples and Swain, though, as the staff are very approachable and accommodating. Shoutouts to the team, especially Waylon, Christine, and the nice lady at the receptions. They do notary services here too!

As a first time home buyer, I had a hard time communicating and receiving instructions through email even though they clearly state email is their preferred method of contact. I was bounced around the office and ended up dealing with all 3 lawyers by the time my deal was all finalized. Lacking customer support and service. A lone bright spot of the whole situation is Angus McNeil was fantastic to deal with and he went above and beyond to try and help me. Just happy it’s all over.
