Andrea was awesome!! She took the time to understand the details of my story and was able to get %100 of the damages we were claiming returned.
I was getting frustrated dealing with my original lawyer and the lawyer of the client we were seeking damages from, i wasn'tmaking any progress.
As soon as Andrea got involved, things quickly changed and within a short period of time, we were paid in full. We are very happy with her work, she's a true professional.

I had a dispute with a landlord at a student residence, and Andrea Lahey was very helpful throughout the process. The outcome was not as desired, but that was no fault of Andrea's. She did everything she could to keep me well-informed, and provide answers or clarity to any questions or concerns I may have had.
I would certainly recommend Act Now Legal Services.

Incredible experience with Andrea and her legal services! She fought against a trafic ticket on my behalf, which I would have gotten 3 demerit points taken without her help. I had a tough case and we felt that the best case scenario would have been that she could get a higher fine in exchange for no points but instead she was able to get the charges completely dropped. I am so insanely pleased with my experience with Andrea and Act Now Legal Services.

Undecided on what to rate. We feel Andrea was great with organizing and paperwork preparation however we were caught off guard with the amount she charged to do so when we prepared just as much ourselves. When we went to the tribunal for our landlord issues and were in front of the mediator the organization fluttered away. She was put on the spot several times and turned to us for answers or would ask what should we do or how should we proceed. We paid Andrea to inform us on what to do and to step up when put on the spot. Unfortunately our landlord bashed her organization and paperwork and we watched Andrea shrink in the chair when that happened. Out of all of the paperwork she did, we as her clients were left in the dark and had nothing to view or review. We wanted her to step it up however turned to us for answers. We delayed paying her for quite some time because we felt her services weren't worth what was charged. We were hoping she would just dismiss the amount owing after discussed this with her and told her how we felt. The best she could do was take $50 off our bill. We finally paid the remaining of the balance owing only because she threatened collections on us. Payment was made and not even a simple thank you ( as if she did us a favor) Sorry but we weren't happy with her services. We were caught off guard several times during our mediation and she nor us didn't have the answers. She was prepared with the paperwork but again once put on the spot it was almost like she was undecisive or looking at us for answers. As a paralegal representing us it was almost better to represent ourselves and save our money. we know for future when dealing with landlord issues this is what we will do considering we did most of the talking while Andrea observed. Great individual but really needs to step up her game.
