I never leave a bad review! This is my first one because this man, Geoff cost us our insurance last year. He essentially stole the $600 we paid for a wett inspection.

After the wett inspection he gave us a checklist, we made the alterations to be approved, and within a month asked him to look st the photos and sign off on the certification. He responded he was busy and get it back to us In a couple weeks.

After following up for 6 months, he finally signed off on the document and the insurance company by that point said it had expired and for Geoff to update the date.

Geoff responded this was his error on his end but he said would not be updating the date for the insurance company. He never offered to come back and redo the inspection despite him saying this was his fault for the tardiness of his certificate signing.

Geoff was excellent! We needed a home inspection done on a tight schedule and he was very responsive and accommodating. The report was very thorough and easy to follow, honestly one of the better home inspection reports I’ve seen in terms of usability for the prospective home owner. He also took the time to walk through the report after we had a chance to read it, and was always readily available to answer more questions. Geoff and Citadel Home Inspections is definitely a five-star outfit.

I recently installed a new wood stove and chimney system and hired Geoff to do the WETT inspection. When Geoff arrived, he pointed out a mistake I had made in the installation of the system. I thought I was going to have to almost tear the whole thing apart to redo it to meet code. But with Geoff's experience an expertise he suggested a workaround that would be code compliant and be a lot easier to do than basically starting again. So, after he left and I had a couple further questions with respect to the workaround idea I texted him several times, he was prompt getting back to me and helping me out remotely. Overall, my experience with him was excellent, without his knowledge I'd have wasted lots of time and energy. I highly recommend Citadel and Geoff if you're needing a home inspection or specifically for my case a WETT inspection.
