Reached out to another law firm who had a full case load and was not able to take on new clients. They referred me to a specific lawyer apart of this firm “Jessie Chisholm” i asked to book a consultation with her, was transferred directly to her for her to immediately transfer me to another man, a lawyer also apart of this firm He had no idea why I was transferred to him, and in a condescending tone asked what is was he could help me with.
I told him another law firm referred me to Jessie, he literally replied by saying “all due respect ma’m, law offices are not grocery stores, stop shopping around and pick a lawyer and retain them”
The two or three questions he asked afterwards were presumptuous and completely not constructive.
I told him I didn’t think we would be able to work together, and had no interest in pursuing services from him. He hung up on me.
This firm needs to hire admin and assistances with personal attributes like “can put up with bullshit” and “endure toxic work environment”
