My son had a tough time with karate before, but since joining Mambec in September 2024, he’s absolutely thriving! He looks forward to every class and eagerly shares what he learns at home. We’ve seen amazing improvements in his self-control, confidence, and focus. I can’t recommend Mambec enough!

We feel quite lucky to have found MAMBEC! We stumbled upon their March Break camp in 2023 and have been hooked ever since! My kids love attending their March, Summer and PD Camps because there’s always lots to do. We’re also big fans of their Martial Arts programming. Not only do they teach the physical Martial Arts but they’re also learning key and important life skills. My kids enjoy going weekly, and love wrapping up the session with their belt advancement ceremony. They take pride in showing what they’ve learned as they continue to work towards higher belts. I’ve recommended MAMBEC to several of my friends and will continue to do so!

Do not send your child/children to this afterschool program. The owner/director is extremely unprofessional to deal with. My daughter was left at school by the driver he honked and waved at her. Leaving her standing in front of the school The school contacted Mambec twice asking him to return. He picked her back up 30-40 minutes later. Once she got on the bus he asked all the kids to raise their hand if they were capable of walking home. Then asked the children again to raise their hand if they knew what abduction is. This is a bus driver not an educator. I contacted the director she told me that she was not aware of her being left behind. I screenshot our conversation. She replied back it was dealt with. Which it has not been. She said he denied it and it was an allegation. Please look into other programs.

Well I will get written documentation from the school principal who was with Addilyn, who was not playing and she witnessed what your driver had done! So clearly your driver is not telling the truth!
Regardless we had already advised you we were not coming back.
Regretfully Mambec and your lack of professionalism and child awareness has been an eye opening experience! One that I will wholeheartedly share with anyone and everyone!

Our son joined the Mambec program, shortly after turning 5. He has been with the weekend class for almost 2 years.
What I like about the program is that it not only teaches martial arts but it teaches the students how to avoid conflicts, if possible and to use karate as a defense mechanism.
Lavonne, Josh and the rest of the staff are great in dealing with the kids while maintaining the discipline.

I've been sending my daughter to the MAMBEC after school program for two years, and it is great! She has gone from being very physically timid to having a lot of confidence in her body and what she can do with it. I've seen her life skills in action, and the leadership in the program is wonderful. The non-martial arts programming is also great, and having swimming incorporated has saved us a couple of hours every week, which is definitely worth it. I also love the way the program teaches my child the importance of accountability, and holds her to the expectations that are set. I'm really glad a program like this exists in this area.

We have two children in Mambec Before and After School Program for almost a year and it has been a great experience. It's a well-organized clean place with great mix of different activities such as martial art, swim, games, art. Staff is very professional, caring, and friendly. It's always nice smiling environment. Thank you Lavonne, Steve, Scott, Janine and all the teachers for being a big part of our kids life and learning! We are more than happy to recommend Mambec to every parent.

My kids love it at Mambec after school care and during in service days! There is always something to keep them busy. Lavonne is amazing at communicating and giving reminders! 😉
