I was impressed with our furnace and duct cleaning (albeit very expensive), I think the technicians did a really thorough job and were great about walking through the pricing and options. However, I was less impressed with the carpet cleaning service. I felt like the pricing wasn’t very transparent before going into the appointment, and it was confusing during the interview-person conversation. I felt like every little thing was an upsell. Again, it was an expensive service - we will see if it was worth it when the area rugs are returned to us in a few days.

In the end, I didn’t appreciate that the technician trucks left oil stains on our driveway, and the technician left the underlay of the hallway carpet in complete disarray after removing the carpet. It just felt like that extra level of care to make sure that the service was done right was missing.

If I can give a zero star, I would let me explain my experience with this company.
I booked a morning Appointment with them based on the fact that I would be the third stop. My father is on dialysis and he’s connected to the machine until 10 AM and I explained that to them on the phone that they cannot show up before so They placed me as a third stop .
8 o’clock in the morning I got a call, saying the technician was outside. I told him that we cannot do that until after 10 AM Because my father is Connected to the dialysis machine until 10 AM , back-and-forth for 10 minutes the technician left to do another job and came back at 11.
Second problem
He walks in and tells us because this is a legal suite he cannot give us a warranty that the cleaning will be done at 100% because all the ducks are behind the wall. This makes no sense. I told him to proceed at this point. I just wanted it over and done with.
3rd problem
I booked this appointment based on the price being $159 and ask the lady on the phone is there any hidden fees, my parents are seniors every penny matters she said no just the tax. Well, the bill came to $196 and when I asked why tech technician said environmental Fee.
The theme here is Inconsistency You guys gotta get your shit together. I’ll never use you again. You need to be more transparent and consistent

Our water heater started leaking so I called Alberta Home services to get a quote on a replacement. The two ladies in the office knew that they installed the water heater in 2014, they asked the questions about the exhaust pipes and the pipe color. They knew from the file that it was a direct vent high efficiency water heater. They gave me a price of $ 1995.00. I booked an appointment for March 10, 2025. The Tech showed up, looked at the water heater heater and said they gave him the wrong heater and he would need to go get the proper heater. I was also told that the cost would be $ 600.00 more . I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and I told the Tech that I would talk to the office to get the price looked at because I was quoted $1995.00. The tech returned with the proper water heater and started to remove the old one. When he took the old heater out the door, he spilled water on the finished floor from the utility room all the way out to the door. I don't know how long the water was sitting on the floor , but long enough to seep in between the laminate floor joints and caused some swelling. I cleaned the water up with a couple of large towels I had a very heated argument with a supervisor named Chris, who would not do anything on the price of the tank and he also told me that water sitting on the laminate floor would not cause any swelling. Chris didn't come to look at the floor. I was told the ladies in the office don't normally take orders, but that day they did and screwed it up. No one from Alberta Home Services contacted me to discuss the floor damage. No one from this company would do anything on the price of the new tank. No one from Alberta Home Services looked at the file to see when the previous tank was replaced under warranty (10) year warranty. If I could give this company a negative star rating I would. The two ladies in the office that I dealt with should be fired. This is the second time I had to deal with this company and every time there was always a problem. I will never deal with Alberta Home Services ever again

I booked with Alberta Home Services to get our furnace, ac and dryer vents cleaned for April 10. Jason & Taylor were on time as promised by their dispatch ETA of 1:00 - 12:00 pm. They arrived at 11:00 am. Very happy with the service they provided. Its good to back to a company one can trust.!!!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Buyer beware, if looking to get your furnace and/or ducts cleaned just go to ANY other company. I have used them in the past multiple times and never had an issue until now. I had 3 homes done and not only was their admin team a nightmare to deal with payment wise and scheduling wise but the service techs were so careless. Property number 1 was left dirty with dust particles around the vents and my tenant had to clean up after them. Property 2 same thing and on top of that they were so lazy to the point that they didn’t even put in the proper filter. If you don’t have it maybe tell me instead of just leaving whatever random filter in there? Luckily for property 3 I had already complained so they did a somewhat decent job. Regardless, this was an awful experience start to finish. Even the workers mentioned to me they have alot of new staffing so things are a bit tough right now. Poor excuse in my opinion.

Great service, courteous, efficient...Varinder suggested checking my dryer vent after they serviced (vacuumed) my furnace. Very reasonable cost for furnace and dryer vent service. I definitely can recommend their services.

Where do i start.
My A/C kept freezing and i had HVAC guys come out to take a look and at the end of all that they basically said my furnace needed cleaning. A trusted company I used didn't have time and so I called Alberta Home Services. I told them my issue and so they were aware I had A/C booked everything and my vents and part of my furnace was cleaned. I asked what about the coils and the technicians said they were extremely fragile so when they cleaning thw vents and such, they use someone to block anything going into it and that was that.

Fast forward 2months and I go turn on my A/C and immediately it freezes. I called Alberta Home services and they said they'll have someone call back. The guy on the other end of the line was not only rude, he was also placing the blame on me for not understanding properly what was offered and that I didn't understand what was part of the package. He continues to advertise that they have a department that can help me, but at this point would I really use their service again? That's a definite NO!

Not to mention over $500 for a 2200sq home.

Mike was friendly, professional and thorough. The entire process was easy and the carpets smell and look wonderful! Would highly recommend Alberta Home Services for anyone looking for a great carpet cleaning service.
