I worked with Janet on an LTB case over the summer. While she is a very kind and pleasant person, I was disappointed with her paralegal services. Janet did not act in my best interest and allowed my ex-tenant to take advantage of the situation. When the tenant proposed paying $200 per month over two years for rent arrears, Janet didn’t try to negotiate a better arrangement or secure more reliable payment terms. She accepted the tenant's proposal to pay via e-transfer, which gave them full control over the payments, and just two months later, they've stopped paying. Additionally, despite my repeated requests, Janet failed to obtain the tenant's address, which has now put me in a difficult position.

Overall, I feel she didn’t provide the level of service I expected, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend her based on my experience.
