I’d like to share my experience with Loft Immigration. Choosing the right immigration consultant is just as important as the decision to migrate itself. I spent a significant amount of time researching the type of immigration partner I wanted, and given my age, experience, and the nature of my immigration case, I was looking for someone with extensive expertise as a business immigration lawyer, not just a general immigration consultant.

Several friends recommended immigration consultants to me, but they were unable to handle my specific case. What stood out about Loft Immigration was that, as Nigerian/African immigrants themselves, they understood my situation on a personal level and could relate to the unique challenges we face.

I discovered Loft Immigration through Instagram. After doing some research, I felt confident they could manage my case. I scheduled a 30-minute free consultation with them, which ended up lasting more than an hour because they were incredibly patient and thorough. I was more than happy to pay for the extra time, as they took the effort to probe deeply into my situation and, from that, identified the best immigration pathway for me: the Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) program.

Once I engaged their services, they approached the process with a high level of professionalism, being methodical, meticulous, and thorough in the preparation of my documents. I was already in Canada on a summer vacation, so I began assembling everything needed for my work permit application. This included the ICT business plan, company incorporation, opening a corporate account for proof of funds, renting office space, transcript evaluation, and confirming LMIA exemption, among other things. Altogether, I must have submitted over 100 documents. Since I had previously gone through a similar process, I had many documents ready in digital form, and it took about a month to compile the rest.

Loft Immigration submitted my application online on September 7th, and I received approval on October 18th—approximately six weeks later.

They made the entire immigration process seamless for me and my family, which was especially important as we have two children currently attending university in Ontario. It’s worth noting that the speed and success of the process also depend on your commitment and how quickly you provide the necessary documents, as Loft Immigration can only work with what you submit to them.
