Paul Davis Thunder Bay provided both demonstrably false and inaccurate information on an insurance claim inspection report, and subsequently ignored concerns. Potential customers should seriously consider how this reflects on the company’s integrity.

Edited to provide a response: The claim decision isn't the issue; the problem is that Paul Davis refused to correct false information. An independent engineer was able to refute the information in the Paul Davis report in writing. The report also lacked any assessment or reference to settling, likely because Paul Davis didn't have the technical expertise to perform the requested service.

It's important to note that the owner only responded after a negative public review was provided. Acting with integrity would have meant correcting the false information in the report, which wouldn't have affected the claim decision. Additionally, people should consider potential personal relationships between the owners and those providing positive reviews.

"This is no time for second best"
I would love second best, instead, I received the worst company Thunder Bay has to offer. Paul Davis does not care about their customers or their own companies integrity. Truly embarrassing local company.

Just awful, avoid business at all costs. Will not return phone calls, will not schedule appointments, only thing they will tell me is that they are to busy to work with me. Waited 2 months for them and they STILL havn't even ordered the window glass after 10+ phone calls. Very unprofessional, "fixed" my door included it not being able to shut properly any longer. Would not recommend to a friend, would recommend to someone who wants to flush money down the toilet. I feel embarrassed when people ask me why my window is still boarded up....
I have never written a bad review with a company, this is my first and hopefully last, but I want to inform people of Thunder Bay of this companies shenanigans and untrustworthy business ethics. Hopefully, this review helps you avoid future headaches in regards to Paul Davis.

In Thunder Bay, I would only ever consider Paul Davis for work done through an insurance company. I have had several experiences with them and they are light years ahead of any local competition which I regrettably have also had experience. Quality work, punctual and understanding.

From the outset, the insurance adjuster was prompt at responding to our water situation in the basement. The "clean up" was handled quickly and with the greatest concern for our heightened anxiety. PD worked with the Insurance Company in expediting resolution to several of our concerns regarding damaged items and quickly identified what qualified for replacement under the terms of the insurance policy (which was difficult given the fact that we were dealing with a novice claims agent).It took several months. to resolve some issues BUT the bottom line was that PaulDavis was there for us and always had our best interest in the forefront. I am grateful for the professionalism and attentiveness we received as the quality of workmanship demonstrated.

I'm extremely happy and grateful with PaulDavis Thunder Bay! I found the whole staff team to most importantly be very informative/knowledgeable, but also very respectful, kind, compassionate, and truly caring as well. This company not only had the best interests for my property in mind, but also what was best for my pocketbook too! I had a severe icedamning that involved the entire rear first and second floor of my home and renovations that needed to be completed that went well beyond the insurance coverage allotment. PaulDavis worked closely with me to ensure that my renovations were kept within budget, they gave me very sound contracting advice, cost saving tips, and were very honest of what needed to be done, and not to be done. They handled the whole situation very professionally, they were very expedient, making my nightmare into something as pleasant as possible. Thank you so very much, you people made all the difference. This company fixed my bathroom from 2 pin holes in my pipes. It was a bit of slow start with insurance claims etc. But it took just over a week to complete my bathroom that was down to the wood and having to start from scratch with dry wall. The final job looks amazing. Very friendly workers and always asked what I wanted before they went ahead and did it. I appreciate that. Would refer them to other people.
