Poor service and rude staff. I called Nathan’s office for some professional advice on Reno contractor issue, however when I talked to the front desk and explained my story, the lady laughed at me and started sharing it with her colleague/someone near her. When I finally got a hold of Nathan Sritharan, he started to scold me as to what I did wrong and accused me of not hiring a lawyer from the beginning. I never felt so diminished. I did not go further with this office of rude and unprofessional staff. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Don't bother - 0 value for money, don't know how to manage their time and do not pay attention to detail. They were uppity, judgemental & did not respect us. It's almost as if they get-off being in a position of leverage managing the life altering transactions of their clients. there are so many better lawyers out there. And oh, they lie - just what you want from your lawyer, right?

Nathan scheduled us for a free consultation right away. He sat down with us for nearly 2 hours on his off day and answered all of our questions. He went out of his way to help us. He is very polite, professional and personable. He has been a lawyer for over 40 years and is very experienced in all kinds of family matters. We felt very comfortable with him right away. He continued to help us before we paid him anything. Although he was extremely busy, he made us a priority. We felt much more at ease after speaking to Nathan about our family matter.

My second experience of home purchase was horrible as a buyer since the seller and their lawyer gave us lots of push back throughout the closing and Nathan being the nice guy he is, did not have the mindset, attitude, and willingness to make a stand for me as my lawyer. I incurred loss of thousands of dollars due to sellers intentionally damaging the home prior to closing and Nathan not willing to stand for me against the sellers. Additionally, after closing, because the sellers had not paid the last water bill, I ended up being charged for it and when I contacted Nathan to have it covered by the insurance protection Nathan sold me, he was verbally abuse and also took over a month to reimburse me after repeated follow ups from me. If you want go with a supposedly nice guy, go with Nathan, but if you want a lawyer to take a stand for you, you might want to find another lawyer. I will never retain Nathan as my lawyer in the future.

Dont ever hire them. Please go somewhere else even if you have to pay more.

Buying : Despite me giving it in writing to ensure to check closing conditions are met (Renter to be out and house to be cleaned before handover) before closing they didn't do it. They should have reached out to sellers lawyers and confirm everything!. They didn't. Renter was not out and house wasn't clean and money was transferred to seller. I was tense whole weekend !! I lost the opportunity to move away from deal. I would have saved 200,000$ due to market condition!!!!!!

Refinancing: All backend work was not done. Despite me raising the question with Mr. Nathan on Friday, he assured that everything will be fine and now its between him and bank , nothing went right. They had all day Monday to ensure everything is under control but they did nothing. My Rate expired and I got mortgage at a higher rate resulting in 200$ per month extra in my mortgage for 5 years! 10K plus loss

Fees: Lot of hidden charges. Deal carefully!!!!!! Get everything in writing from them. As despite me sending an email to them confirming total all inclusive fees they charges me way more in my 2 transactions. I just got one file and i don't even know what I am charged in other yet.

I love Nathan. He is very funny and you can tell this is not just a business for him. He builds relationships. He treats everyone like close friends. There is also one girl there who does reception, i think her name was Shalini. She is very well-mannered and pleasant, compared to others who have been there in the past. Very quick and efficient office.

Frankly, people who have a problem with him is due to two things.

1) he may not be available at all times because everyone requests to deal with him personally. He is only one person, people need to understand that.

2) they have a problem with his "fees". No ome complains when a white person is charging the same fees but then when a brown man does the same thing , he has to give a discount? Come on now..
