I used Laengert Law for their advertised notary services to witness a travel consent form for my two children. This is a document required or at least suggested to have when one parent with shared custody wants to travel with their kids out of the country. This is the fourth time I needed this service and my usual notary had retired. The process with Laengert was a nightmare. They were disorganized, expensive and time consuming. For comparison my usual requirement was to print a consent form including pertinent information and have the kids other parent sign it in front of a notary who would then stamp it. This process usually took about 15 minutes and cost $40. With Laegert it cost $113.00 because there were two kids involved, so I was told, despite it only being one standard document. The document itself had to be sent to the office, filled out by me, three times due to disorganization I guess? Once there the document had to be signed by myself, first time for this, and my ex, twice because they incorrectly stamped it the first time. We also had to Zoom call a lawyer to witness our ID's and signatures, also new to us. The process took 1 hour. If you are looking for a Notary we would recommend you don't use Laengert for all reasons stated above.
* The response below is inaccurate. The appointment was 1 hour, there was one document, like I said I've been through this multiple times, and the errors were all on your side. Nice to blame the customer. If I could change my review to zero stars I would. Again, readers and researchers, I suggest avoiding Laengert Law.
