Would give -5 stars if I could. Was paying 120$ for 250 Mbps internet with Hurontel. I’m now paying 60$ for 1000 Mbps with Eastlink.
Hurontel is a Scam. Would strongly recommend you avoid those prices

I was talking to a girl this morning Oct 19/24 about my bill. Her attitude made me feel like I was bothering her. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. I wish I had. She made me feel like how dare I ask her a question and when I tried to understand what she was saying her attitude was very condescending. She won though because I gave up and then she says fine if you don’t want my help!!!! I wished her a good day and was done with her. Ive had no problems with Hurontel till now, but she was a jerk!!!!!!

I would like to highlight one of your customer service representatives. Her name is Sarah M.

We are a new clients to HuronTel so when setting up our account, Sarah was our customer service representative.

I feel that when someone goes above and beyond, they should be recognized.

Sarah was so helpful with great knowledge of HuronTel and the services they provide, amazing communication, very efficient and made sure that all my questions were answered in a very professional and informative manner.

Sarah went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met, everything was explained in terms we understood. It was such an stress-free set up.

I was expecting to receive responses within 24 hours or the “next business day”. However, every email I sent, I had a response within five minutes (or less). She set us up with everything we requested, gave us information on other services (not pressuring us or trying to sell us on services we didn’t want/need.. just let us know of our options), had our landline phone number issued, our paperwork sent and completed, all questions answered and all my emails returned, literally within an hour (and I asked a lot of questions 😊).

I have never been with a company where everything was set up and completed in an hour. AMAZING!

She is fantastic at what she does and represents HuronTel with integrity, efficiency, knowledge and above all, kindness.

As long as we are residing in the area you offer your services, we will remain HuronTel customers.

If I could leave minus 5 stars I would because these SCAM ARTISTS were taking money that wasn't there's and ripping me off left right and center AND LEFT ME WITH NO INTERNET AND A HUGE DEBT I WONDER HOW THERE DOORS ARE EVEN OPEN DO NOT GET THERE SERVICES YOU'LL SURE WISH YOU HADNT TRUST YOU ME " UNPROFESSIONAL AS THEY COME .. CHARGE TO MUCH , OVER CHARGE and EXPECT AN 80 YEAR OLD TO KNOW HOW TO SET UP THERE OWN ENTONE BOX .... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING YOUR HOMEWORK AND GOING WITH A COMPANY THERE CARES AND THAT WONT OVER CHARGE FOR for crumby services , taking money out of your account thats not theres and ripping YOU OFF AND THEN HANDING IT INTO COLLECTIONS ... WORST CABLE COMPANY ON EARTH , IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME GO AHEAD AND ROLL THE DICE ...GOOD LUCK .... IS MY SUGGESTION ....

We have had HuronTel for a phone provider for over 50 years and they have always been helpful and friendly. In the last few years we have added internet and again both the technical service and the customer service have been absolutely top-notch. Thank you HuronTel!

Paying for 100mbps, the official Speed Test app they recommend shows I'm getting like 24mbps. Working from home and repeatedly disconnected tonight.

Super frustrating. There's no excuse to get 1/4 of the speed I'm actually paying for.

There was an issue. To be fair, I have no idea if it was my fault or theirs. That said, both staff and management was exceptional and went above and beyond. What a great experience
