Good facility with some very informative courses and classes. The instructors are well informed and knowledgeable. The building is under construction which can interfere with classes because of noise. Not too many options for food and drinks in the area, tho there's a coffee truck coming around twice a day (maybe more).

Had training with John in Waterloo. Great instructor, made the course as enjoyable as could be. Answered all questions and overall I highly recommend this program. Learned quite a bit.

Instructor Adam Rothwell is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. Whenever he comes to our site, he provides great insight and recommendations to keep everyone safe. What’s most impressive is the forward looking recommendations he presents us with, leveraging his experience to help identify future safety concerns before they even arise.

I just finished my 1 day course for working at heights - fundamentals of fall protection with Adam Rothwell as the instructor. He dictated the codes and regulations both by the book as well as in real life situations and scenarios. The course was broken up into chunks with breaks spread out in proper intervals so you were able to stretch / use the washroom without missing any instructions. We went through a practical test as well as a written test at the end of it. This is the 4th time I've gone for working at heights however the first time i did it through IHSA and comparing it to previous courses I was very impressed. The instructor was engaging, thorough and had models and pieces of equipment to show us the different devices without just looking at a slideshow for the whole day. Very well done. Generally I get very sleepy during lecture based situations but it was easy to stay engaged for the whole time. Thanks for the knowledge. Cheers.

The staff here are very nice and helpful. Did my working at heights training here. The course could have taken a couple hours but it was stretched out to an entire day due to constant coffee brakes and chatting. Not to mention having to wait for everyone to complete the practical assignment before filling out the final exam and leaving. Most of the data you learn from this I learned reading the pamphlet before the course started.

I did a working at heights refresher at the Hamilton location. My biggest complaint was no female harnesses were available to use (cross front which is known to be more comfortable for women, but especially larger chested women). Please make this small effort to be inclusive of all genders who require this training. Thanks.

I took the fall protection course here, and they provided several practical means of learning the basics. There were a lot of example devices to demonstrate various kinds of damage and over-use, as well as mockup platforms and anchor points to practice your skills.

The fourth star is really just for the fall protection course. The other three are for what seemed to be a generic classroom style building that was actually quite confusing to navigate. I'd really dislike having to get out of there in a fire. The food truck at lunch was a nice touch!
