If I could give a 0 for review I would. This company uses shortcuts and don't care about the customer. My best friend had a flood on the main floor and all they wanted to do is band aid the problem. They took off the baseboards and replaced them with the same ones and then once they were on, that's when they painted them and got paint all of the walls. Now we have to get another contractor in here to fix what the messed up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This company will also remove things that are damaged from your house and use the good parts in their house. The contractors that did the floor didn't even put it in properly, it's already moving and shifting and has only been about a month and a half. The guy who was working on the island could use customer etiquette and not huff and puff about the job. Overall definitely NOT happy with their services

PuroClean is a great company! Jess and her team came into my home and they were phenomenal. They respected the home and us, being overall wonderful and welcoming. I highly recommend hiring them.

1. Customer service doesn’t exist from their project manager (Justin) which, in my opinion and experience, anyone in a position of “manager” should be well versed in customer care. When there was a discrepancy between a conversation I had with him versus the contractor on a cost I called Justin to get clarification and he took the conversation completely personal. He started laying in to me about not reading the email they sent about the schedule they made and sent us, something he would not let go of in order to deflect from his mistake. I advised that as a client we would rather be part of making the schedule as we have jobs to work around. His response when I said was unhappy was to keep repeating how many good reviews he has in his email from past clients that are not the one he’s currently failing. He continues to say (and yes I quote), “well, this is why insurance companies offer a payout instead so that you can manage your own contractors” and “well I’m sorry if that’s how you feel”. 0 accountability. 0 business etiquette. 0 stars for the people who should be nothing but customer oriented care. 0. When I advised that after one of the contractors felt there was a communication breakdown he said, “well we need to be calling our contractors then if they’re not happy working for us”. Funny how Justin doesn’t like when people “working” for them say something upsetting - yet that’s all he was capable of doing on a customer call.

2. The project manager (Justin) sent contractors to review things in the home after the flood that were then missed on the estimate and work order like the replacement of hot water tanks. We had to remind him to make sure it was added so that we were covered for it. I had to request a few times for a new sign off to make sure it was included because they tried to kick off work before we even signed off that we were hiring them. It’s a good thing we were on it I guess to keep track of his work and we didn’t berate him about it the way he did to his customer over the emailed schedule.

3. Their first demolition crew showed up very late and didn’t even tell us until they were already late that they would not be on time. When they did show up, their crew of what was supposed to be 4 was only 2 for another 2 hours. We gave them a time they had to be done and we ended up having to ask them to leave because they didn’t respect that either.

4. When calling their office to get ahold of the project manager on this job, they had no idea who he was and insisted the name I have was for a project manager out of the Ontario office and not Edmonton.

So far the contractors hired outside of puroclean have been great, so I definitely will not lump them in here and will give them their own reviews when the work is complete.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews as my experience was quite positive, unless of course, I forgot which company did my repair work. A condo unit of mine flooded and the condo management company used this company so I had no choice in the matter. They finished in a timely manner. Not as quickly as originally stated but one additional unforeseen issue did arise so that's just the nature of the beast. I was able to keep in good contact with one individual (Chris I believe) and when I had my final walk through, I did see any issues. Unfortunately this was second water loss issue at this unit within a year and compared to the previous company that did the work, it was a night and day difference. So comparing to one other company, they did fantastic work.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! This is the company my insurance hired for my kitchen claim. If you are looking for builders grade quality work, look no further! These guys will deliver non professional, unknowledgeable and lying employees to come do your work! My insurance claim that originally would have cost $20-30K is now over $60K because of their incompetence; if they could break it, it got broken... flooring, backsplash tile, granite countertops... They were not even slightly careful with the removal of anything. My whole kitchen had to be redone for a faucet leak that was contained to the corner of my kitchen. Not only did they not know what quality and type of products were in my home (calling everything builders grade when it was actually custom limestone, porcelain and granite) which I had receipts to prove were so, they also broke things like my cooktop and the hood vent saying they were water damaged, when they weren't. And when the project manager, Allan heard from an employee that I "Took protective measures off and told them if they break it they buy it", instead of investigating this LIE, he had the unprofessional audacity to question me in a company wide email about it. The unprofessionalism, the lack of knowledge and the blatant disrespect for myself and my home is enough for me to shout DO NOT USE PUROCLEAN!!! Consider yourself warned!

They contaminated formerly clean items in my friend's poop flooded basement by piling dirty items on top. They also took three days to start cleaning the basement and called my friend a liar.
