We used Karl to help with my grandmothers estate last year and he was outstanding. He had answers for every question we had, he arranged everything for the probate and gave us a list of stuff we needed to complete, everything was made easy and it was done in a very timely manner.

I used Nora for my separation and divorce. I would recommend going forward on your own rather than using Nora. The judge constantly had to tell her to slow down as he couldn’t understand her because she was talking to fast. I had proof on paper of things my ex was doing but Nora would not use as she said she was a lawyer and had to think of her future and not just 1 case. Matters got drawn out for a couple years instead of finalizing the divorce as requested. Even her understudy student said we could win our case with ease but Nora chose to do things her way instead of what was requested of her.
I ended up going forward on my case by myself as paying for Nora was getting me absolutely no where. After releasing Nora I managed to get my ex out of my house, get my support payments down and create a relationship with my children. All things Nora was paid to do but failed on every occasion.
This firm wouldn’t even give me access to my files tell my bill was paid in full so had to start my side of things with zero of my previous paperwork and had to go to the courthouse and pay to print it all out again out of pocket when Nora could have easily released my file to me.
I wouldn’t go anywhere near this firm for family separation matters as all they did was take all my money and watched me go further on my own with a grade 11 education and do better then all of them with ALL their education combined.
Save your money, you’ve been warned.

Went to see a lawyer for our will. So glad it was with Karl Doering. Very knowledgeable, advised us well in all areas of the will. Has great demeanour and great personality. He got the job done and on top was very welcoming to my new puppy. Went back to sign more papers and the entire office was attentive and caring. Must see this group.

I would highly recommend Meadowridge Law and Rhonda Murray for any legal services you require. Recently retained her legal services and advice for Power of Attorney and a Representation Agreement for Mom. A piece of advice for everyone out there...If your parents do not have their Wills and Powers of Attorney in place, please talk to them about it and make sure they do that for themselves. Don't wait till Dementia happens only to find that they have not protected themselves. and in fact, have your own affairs in order as well in respect to Wills and Powers of Attorney.
