Because the hotel that we stayed at for the night closed their restaurant, we found this one and we were most welcomed by the friendly and efficient lady who juggled the front desk, office and restaurant! Food was fine, but what made our evening was the beautiful bonfire on site, and even though we weren't guests, they allowed us to sit and enjoy the warmth of their fire. Mighty hospitable!

We were traveling from Kamloops to Fort St John and spent the night in Grand Cache at this Hotel. We booked a newly renovated king size room on the second floor and it did not disappoint. The renovation has been so thoughtfully done with a very modern touches and comforts considered. The bed was super comfortable, the lighting choices are beautiful, and the multi head shower what's a real treat. It was my first experience with a heated toilet seat which seemed like a fantastic luxury after a long day on the road. Dinner in the lounge was very good, staff service was great and breakfast portions were huge! We would for sure choose this spot again.

The rooms are fine. The location is good, walking distance to a number of useful places.

Previous times staying here they provided a breakfast coupon for the attached restaurant for a simple meal. They have stopped doing that and now offer an apple and muffin. See photo. Pretty bad.

For a 3 star hotel, in my opinion, it is worth so much more. The people are generous, understanding, and they compensated more than required. They fixed our problems, and in return for the mishaps, they gave us options for free breakfasts. The rooms are very pretty and very well kept, room service is very kind, they don't short hand you and they replenish everything.
Thank you so much for such an amazing time 🙂 and personal thanks to Rizza, Myla, and anyone else who attended to our room service. You make this hotel feel like home.

Our booking experience wasn’t so pleasant from the beginning when I was originally booked for 1 night, and then received a phone call days later stating that I needed to stay 2 nights or they would cancel our room. We needed the room, so we were technically forced into staying 2 nights. Our stay once we were there was fine, except for the over priced mediocre food at the attached restaurant, and that the complimentary breakfast was not on during the time of the Death Race weekend. Seems like quite the shady business practice overall. The most pleasant part of our stay was the housekeeping staff that were always there if we needed anything. Unfortunately we will be choosing to return to a different establishment when we return next year.

I stayed Aug 12. The lobby is beautiful as stated in previous reviews.

Amazing service and friendly staff. I arrived early and was allowed to check in early and the following morning got late check out.

I read a review about no hot water. I had no issue with that. The water was more than hot. I barely needed it.

The place is very clean. They do a thorough job on the rooms. They were even carpet cleaning when I was there.

I am not sure if my room was renovated or not but that was the downfall, the room is so outdated to me. Maybe they haven’t been able to renovate all the rooms yet. Oh but the review about great beds, this is true, the beds were comfy!

Staff - beyond impressed (even cleaning staff), friendly and sweet
Cleanliness - perfect!!! They do their best I’m sure.
Room - a little outdated for me
