MD law group in Calgary is hands down, the best law firm I have ever had experience with. After 2 1/2 years of getting no resolution with another firm, with what should have been a relatively open and shut case, I reached out to Dan Murphy , who had been recommended to me.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Nicolas Besner to my partner. From the beginning, there was a complete lack of communication. Despite being in the middle of my case, the lawyer decided to take a 2-month vacation, leaving me in the dark for half of the entire 4-month period I was expecting work to be done. On top of that, the firm changed assistants three times during this period without any notice, and the current assistant “Kelly” is not only incompetent but also incredibly rude.

To add insult to injury, they took over $550 from my retainer, claiming it was for sending emails and letters, which seems extremely questionable as there was absolutely no progress. Even worse, despite my repeated attempts to get clarity, the lawyer is refusing to have a phone conversation with me to discuss my case. The last communication had was via email with the assistants and the lawyer letting me know they won’t be going on with the case and them also refusing to communicate over a call. For someone who is supposed to be providing professional legal services, this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
I am in the process of reporting this to the relevant department/authorities as I believe this is a fraudulent company and very unreliable. Be aware!

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone in need of competent legal representation.
