Catherine Checkland is a horrifying individual. She picks and chooses which clients are worthy of proper representation. She looks down on her clients especially if child welfare is involved. I made a complaint to the Alberta bar and she was forced to write me an apology (which was very generic and not at all genuine) But at least there is record of her horrifying treatment of her clients. Never be afraid to report these people. They are not above us they are just exploiting us.

Very brief phone call filled with no's and very limited insight. Unwilling to help. Did an appeal with her to a mental health review panel, did not even recognize who I was and told me "good luck"... Not very professional or helpful
