A couple of weeks ago, I witnessed Imogen Jenkins of Daunais, McKay and Harms appear on behalf of my brother. As a retired peace officer and senior leader, I have had countless contacts with lawyers and the criminal justice system. To say that Imogen performance, in my opinion, was underwhelming at best would be a compliment to her. She was ineffective, disorganized and completely ignored the direction and questions that were provided to her by my brother. Instead, she chose to ask questions that were ineffective and a waste of the precious 20 minutes that were available to her and my brother. When one of her questions elicited a question from the judge she didn't know the answer and began shuffling through her binders wasting further time. I would not recommend her!

If it were possible to select zero or fewer stars in this review for Imogen Jenkins, a lawyer from Daunais McKay & Harms, I would.

Ms. Jenkins recently represented my brother in the courtroom and she actually did more harm than good. There was critical medical evidence that should have been presented to explain the content of a video that the other side presented. She also failed to do that.

As a level 1 emergency room/trauma registered nurse for the past 23 years, I am absolutely shocked that my brother’s head injury, with a probable concussion at minimum, was never even brought up. This fact is so significant that its omission indicates a serious lack of preparation or disinterest in the case.

In my experience, I have seen people of all ages become extremely aggressive and, at times, violent from head injuries—people you would never expect to behave in such a manner.

This demonstrates an exceptionally poor performance by Ms. Jenkins and, therefore, by the company as a whole.

Ms. Jenkins’ lack of preparation and basic skills at presenting in court have created risk for my young nephew and my brother.

It is one thing to be concerned about what the other side is going to bring to trial, but absolutely unacceptable when one’s own legal counsel does more damage than good.

I witnessed a disappointing performance by Imogen Jenkins, a lawyer from Daunais McKay & Harms, who represented my friend at his trial. Despite being provided with all the necessary information and evidence to prepare, she appeared unprepared at the court. Her line of questioning lacked logical sequence and failed to build a solid defence for my friend when the opposing party made baseless accusations. Overall, her performance was poor, and I would not recommend her services if you aim to win your case.

I honestly do not recommend hiring Imogene Jenkins. I witnessed first hand in the court room as to how unorganized she was when she was hired by a dear friend of mine. She was given specific questions to ask the witness on the stand and she failed miserably in that task. The questions she did manage to ask were never followed through with, and left hanging as to why they were asked in the first place. The Judge even got frustrated with her and her lack of professionalism when she couldn't find the exact papers she was being questioned to provide.
Needless to say, my friend did not fair well in his case and I really feel it would have made a huge difference if his lawyer was ready and organized to plead his case.

If you are going to use Imogen Jenkins you would gain more satisfaction by just flushing your retainer down the toilet. A bobble head doll could have been more effective in court than she was. She was even provided the questions to ask but showed up completely unprepared. I am not sure if it is incompetence or lack of any preparation. I would hope the partners in her firm would review the court transcripts just to see how inept she was.
