If I could give a "0" I would. To say I was unimpressed is an understatement. I attended mediation / arbitration with Lonnie Balbie and his conduct was so unprofessional, bordering on illegal, I reported it to the law society. At one point the other party involved lied while under oath and when called out on it (with evidence to support) Lonnie did absolutely nothing and continued to allow the lies. When I challenged him on it, he went as far to "that is not my concern." If you are considering him for any work, run the other way!!

Professional services from experienced lawyers, but what happens behind the scenes is far from professional. Abysmal working environment with individuals that are unprofessional, very intrusive regarding personal affairs of staff, and lawyers are uninterested in any affairs not directly tied to generating revenue. Definitely needs an HR department.

$1000 minimum up front for an "assesment". After that they may decide not to take your case, but if they do then it's going to cost you $3000 minimum retainer. A good lawyer gives you 30 minutes to explain your case and get to each other FOR FREE. This place seems a bit greasy to me, I've been burned by family lawyers before so I shopped around some more and eventually found a good lawyer.
